Red Magic 3: Overview
ZTE launched the Nubia Red Magic 3 in May 2019. You can get the product starting at AUD 749 in the markets of Australia. The phone flaunts elegance in Black, Red, Camouflage, and Red/Blue. Let us jump into the details.
Nubia Red Magic 3 has a dimension of 171.7 x 78.5 x 9.7 mm. It weighs about 215 grams with the aluminum frame. The phone has Gorilla Glass 4 on the front and aluminum on the back. The device is not IP67 dust/water-resistant(up to 1m for 30 mins).
The display system has a 6.65 inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, which supports 16 M color depth. You can almost feel the bezels with an 80.5% screen-to-body ratio. Nubia Red Magic 3 operates on Android 9.0 (Pie), upgradable to Android 10, Redmagic 3.0. Snapdragon 855 (7 nm) chipset and Octa-core Kryo 485 go well with Adreno 640. You will get 128GB UFS 3.0 with 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 with 12GB RAM for your files and applications. The internal storage is expandable with a dedicated card slot.
The other Storage variation includes: 64GB 6GB RAM and 128GB 6GB RAM.
Nubia Red Magic 3 has a single-camera system that includes a 48 MP wide camera with PDAF and HDR support. You can shoot up to 8K videos up to 15 fps with the rear camera system. The videos will not get Stereo support in the sound records. You also get a 16 MP wide-angle cameras on the front camera with auto-HDR support. The camera can shoot up to 1080p videos at 30 fps without gyro-EIS support.
Battery & Sound:
Nubia Red Magic 3 has a Non-removable Li-Ion 5000 mAh battery. The battery system supports Fast battery charging 18 W. The system also supports USB Power Delivery 2.0 and Quick Charge 4+.
There are loudspeakers on the Nubia Red Magic 3 that have stereo support. You get high-quality sound with 32-bit/384kHz audio output but you also get a 3.5 mm jack port for external sound devices.
