Known for reliability and unique innovation, Apple is looking to launch a new iPad mini 6. The rumors regarding the iPad mini have been circulating for quite some time and we are anxiously waiting for its release. However certain leaks and rumors about the product details have made us excited. Completely redesigned and loaded with improved specs, iPad mini 6 is expected to be launched later this year probably alongside iPhone 13. The latest renders designed by Michael Ma gives us complete insight of the iPad mini 6 along with the specs it is going to come with. Apple iPad mini are the smallest entry in the tablet series from Apple for people who don’t want huge display like that in iPad pro. It is a compact version of the iPad Air and it comes with a 8.4 inch Liquid Retina display which is an major upgrade from 7.9 inch display on the iPad mini 5. It also features uniform bezels around the screen with 60Hz refresh rate. Its dimensions stand at 206x138x6.1mm which is 3mm taller and wider than its predecessor.

Moving towards the internals, we also get upgrade as compared to iPad mini 5 that used Apple’s A12 Bionic chip. On the contrary, It would be using powerful A14 Bionic chip. The storage compartment is expected to lie between 128 and 256 GB. The reports also say that iPad mini 6 will also feature 5G support, USB-C support rather than lightening cable, and introducing smart connector for added clip-on keyboard support. It will also provide touch ID support via scanner housed in the power button. The iPad mini 6 would be available in 5 colors, Space grey, silver, Rose Gold, Green, and Sky Blue.

The price tag for mini 6 isn’t confirmed and there are different opinions as of yet. According to some, it will be priced higher thanks to its specifications while some think it would be ‘consistent’ at the price tag iPad mini 5 came. For reference, iPad mini 5 came between $399/AU$599 and $679 /AU$1019 for different variants. As the specs are told, we can guess the price would be around or a bit higher than mini 5.
